Career objective

Proficient in teaching and research. Over the last few years, I have focused on teaching Physiology and carrying research related to autonomic neuroscience especially dysautonomia such as diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy (DCAN), postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) etc.

Designation: Junior Resident.

1.Worked as a Junior Resident (25-07-2011 to 23-01-12) in the Department of Opthalmology in SKIMS Medical College, Srinagar with an “Excellent” performance.

2.Worked as a Junior Resident (21-03-2012 to 20-09-2013) in the Department of Blood Transfusion & Immuno-haemotology in SKIMS Tertiary Care hospital, Srinagar with “Excellent” performance.

3.Worked as a Demonstratorr (20.09.2017 to 19.09.20) at Government Medical College & SMHS hospital, Srinagar, J&K, India.As a developed and maintained autonomic function testing laboratory at Government Medical College & SMHS hospital, Srinagar. Supervised and motivated staff as well as postgraduates to take part in various projects related to autonomic neuropathy and autonomic disorders. Successfully designed research methodology for various projects and independently interpreted the research results. The research efforts resulted in 10 publications in peer reviewed and indexed journals. Assisted in the creation of an environment conducive to learning and appropriate to the physical, social and emotional development of medical undergraduate and postgraduate students.
