With 20+ years working as a Psychiatric Technician for The Department of Developmental Services and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, I have gained real world experience working with individuals in challenging populations. During my years working as a psychiatric technician, I gained invaluable knowledge and skill that would benefit those seeking to attain the same knowledge and skill, which would be needed in order to work, succeed, thrive, and learn in challenging environments. Sharing my experiences and knowledge through teaching and earning a doctorate in psychology are goals I am actively working toward. Most importantly, I aim to find new and exciting ways to reinvent and challenge myself, what better way to do so by teaching and completing my educational goals while sharing my knowledge with others.
