CAREER RESPONSIBILITIES: Engineering Surveyor, Survey technician. 1. Conducting initial surveys in the local system for densification of building control points around the construction site.
2. Geo referencing drawings into model maker to generate coordinates and setting out dimensions.
3. Using reference grids to setting out all structures i.e piling, columns, walling, coffer slabs, soffit levels, leasing lines, ramps, beams, kerbs etc, relative to their true position and levels.
4. Carrying out As-Built surveys and plotting results for civil works. 5. Conducting surveys in order to establish legal boundaries for properties, based on legal deeds and titles.
6. Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, reports, and legal descriptions of surveys in order to describe, certify, and assume liability for work performed. 7. Verifying the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.

8. Recording the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.
9. Calculating heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, volume of stockpiles and other characteristics of terrain.
10. Preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.
11. Search legal records, survey records, and land titles in order to obtain information about property boundaries in areas to be surveyed. 12. Coordinating findings with the work of engineering personnel, setting out profiles and others concerned with projects.
