Responsible for modifying the existing XMPP messaging functionality to use the new slixmpp module.

Constructed the Unit test framework for the controller module and wrote 40-unit tests achieving 95% test coverage.

●Engineered a proof of concept involving the import of data from six different traditional storage arrays to the next generation storage array with the RxJava, Vert.x and shipped within a Docker.

●Developed a service discovery mechanism given by Vert.x to implement adapters to communicate with 5 external arrays.

●Programmed a database which handled more than 1000 transactions per second in Postgres using a state machine.

●Participated in designing the Database schemas and implementing the required tables using both Cassandra and Postgres databases and wrote high performance queries for data retrieval using JooQ.

●Formulated the pause and resume functionality for the importing data and handled error and rollback scenarios which helped the user manage overloads or network outages and increased the customer base by 10 percent.

●Resolved more than 100 bugs in the Destination Cyclone project which involved making code changes and adding additional unit test cases to handle different scenarios in the pause and resume functionality.

●Created and integrated the unit test framework using Power Mockito and wrote 700 white box testing cases for different functionalities and achieved a test coverage of 94 percent.

Awards: 1) Received four bronze awards in recognition of innovation and development of projects at Dell.

2) Recipient of the Dell Achievement award for the innovative and novel approach of using service discovery.
