Summary of my Essential Functions:
Manages calls to the site and direct them appropriately.
Schedule evaluations using Schedule Wise.
Greet patients and visitors as they arrive.
Collect and maintain patient deductibles and co-pays in an organized manner and tracks. Communicate any patient financial issues with Site Supervisor. Prepare and complete deposits on a weekly basis.
Manages supplies, inventory and ordering.
Act as a liaison between Outpatient Services and billing department.
Participate in continuing education to reach professional growth objectives.
Collect and distribute mail, faxes and interoffice communications.
Obtain current and up to date insurance information for current or potential patients.
Complete quantitative chart reviews daily and maintain up to date spreadsheet information.
Complete site scanning of clinical documentation using Doc Manager.
Arrange transportation for patients in conjunction with the transportation department.
Maintain a spreadsheet with patient authorizations and notify counselor/site supervisor if an authorization isn’t up to date.
Complete documentation of monthly drills for the site and submit them to the appropriate parties.
Complete appeal letters for insurance denials and communicates with the billing department.
Complete new patient paperwork including intake documentation.
Submit weekly credit card receipts and cash to the Corporate Office using Concur.
Maintain confidentiality of the site, specifically related to patient identification and documentation.
Payroll using Kronos.
Month End reports, Crown Web.
Interact with co-workers in a helpful manner which contributes to high morale.
