Network Operations Center (NOC) Manager: for nearly 14 years in a support function. Fielded customer support calls via telephone, e-mails, & fax calls, as well as monitored alarms and managed their resolution to a satisfactory conclusion. I worked all network anomalies of services provided by our location to include; Voice, VoIP, Data, Internet, & Video over Frame Relay, Frame Relay over IP, and IP via terrestrial circuits and satellite hops. The satellite systems were types; SCPC, Broadcast, ViperSat, and iDirect (Linux based OS). This included working on all interconnecting end to end equipment required to terminate provided services for the customer such as PABX’s, Billing Platforms, routers, switches, bridges, hubs, satellite modems, up / down converters, SSPA’s, HPA’s, and Earth Station facilities. I worked with SCPC, Broadcast, ViperSat, and iDirect (Linux OS) satellite network.

Responsible for the NOC Operations but also the personnel’s hiring, replacement, performance, annual review, training, and customer satisfaction through NOC performance through SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures’) established by me. Billing reports, meetings with upper management, CML’s (Consolidated Material Lists) – sat in with Operations Managers / Program Managers / Engineers in the deciding what materials were to be ordered for each customer.
