Description: In today’s consumer goods industry, multiple internal and external forces have combined to create a dynamic and rapidly changing business environment. Rapid growth of point of sale (POS) data volumes for large retailers and technology constraints has been limiting Procter and Gamble’s capabilities to convert POS data into insights for top customers. Implementation of Fastmart free the data solution, which is joint Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and P&G project, supported by new technologies like massive parallel processing Vertica columnar database will enable fast and easy access to POS data at store and banner level. A wide range of flexible reporting solutions enabling ad-hoc queries, data extractions capabilities and pre-build reports will provide competitive advantage to P&G’s selling capability with customers.

Roles : Technology Analyst (L3 support & Lead)

Responsibilities:

Interacts with end users in gathering the requirements, draws out a plan to deliver them and communicates regularly on the progress.

Assesses impact to the service due to introduction of new or changes in the functionalities to the existing application.

Co-ordinates with client and software developers to determine the road map for smooth releases to production environment and define business communication strategy.

Description: We are responsible for ingestion implementation specific to the Active code list (ACL) which is an extract from Simplement & Sales Forecast data (Sources). Source team will push data to sources 1. Simplement (SQL Database) and 2. Sales Forecast Data (Oracle) in case of Full data load. ACL team will process data from Simplement storage to Azure SQL using ADF. For each region, ADF pipelines use the source data and ingest into multiple Staging tables. We are following traditional approach based on the type of loading.

Roles : Developer

Responsibilities:

Source team will push the data to respective databases. We ingest the data into Azure SQL database Staging Tables using ADF pipelines and stored procedures.

Work on Ad-hoc requests raised by users with given timelines.

Monitoring the pipeline runs daily/weekly basis and fix if any failures.

Work on manual dashboard refresh in PowerBI based on user request.

3. Digital Brain

Description: It is about proactively notifying ecommerce managers or similar staff with Nudges on Teams, and informative visualizations understandable through UI or Power BI dashboard. To take corrective actions based on received information. This Digital Brain setup will be altered based on suitable client requirements once there is an agreement between Client and Vendor.

Responsibilities:

Set up an environment (installing software’s)

We created an orchestration of 8 Microservices using Python Flask API's and their integration flow is designed to work seamlessly.

creating a python script for importing CSV data from azure blob storage to Neo4j.

Creation of nodes and relationships using cypher queries and visualization in bloom along with search phrases.

Inserted collections in MongoDB server using Mongo shell and retrieved collections using python connector.

Locally testing each API before deploying it to kubernetes, built docker image for code, pushed it to ACR and then deployed it to kubernetes using azure cloud shell after preparation of necessary yaml files for deployment and service.

Exposed all the applications deployments to be accessible from any network using external load balancer service.

Prepared the script for bulk insertion of nodes and relations for entire setting up of schema on one go.

we build the adaptive card using adaptive card designer and generated various templates which were useful for covering multiple scenarios.

Prepared Power BI dashboard for visualization for SLA.

4. Customer Data Service (CDS) Procter & Gamble co.

Description: This project is based on Business Intelligence having data warehouse in which transactional data of retailers of P&G is maintained across the globe. In this application Extraction Transformation Loading (ETL) is done followed by some business derivation, aggregation and reporting. The main objective of this project is to onboard retailer specific data on the CDS platform and creates business views used by reporting applications. This is a functional application used by Global Point of Sales Customer team to drive business growth and provide business insight to P&G. The data from this application is used by business users and down Stream applications to forecast the sale, improve the supply chain and warehouse performance. Scope of the project is development, migration and changes involving requirements elaboration, design, build, testing and implementation. The system will be developed in multiple releases using the waterfall methodology.

Roles: Developer & Analyst

Responsibilities:
