In compliance with the MHA graduate program, I worked directly with the practice administrator to rewrite and implement a new collections policy for the practice which included research, hiring a collections agency, and detailing an entirely new policy with success. In addition, gained experience in day-to-day operations of the practice, and worked directly with accounts payable and accounts receivable as well as collections and troubleshooting denied or rejected insurance claims with both insurance companies and patients.
