I stocked the shelves, adjusting prices, setting new modular, and assisting customers with their purchases and selling product to them. Part of my job was to make sure that the customer had access to what they needed, when they needed it. I was also tasked with troubleshooting issues that customers maybe having with their electronics (phones, tablets, computers, etc.…) and helping them with new purchases if necessary. With this job, I awarded perfect attendance. I also managed different tasks and lead teams on modular changes and installations. We also had to move freight and put them where they were supposed to go. In a typical day, anywhere from 4 to 10 carts of freight per day would get worked depending on business and what all we were loading and unloading.

EGA DISPATCHER GEICO 09/2016-02/2020
My job was to set up tows and other services for customers. Part of my job was working in the Emergency Roadside Department, which means that I set up services such as tows, tire changes, jumpstarts, etc.…to disabled customers. Another part of my job was to set up and assist customers with Glass claims. Essentially, I filed a claim for a customer with a chipped or cracked piece of vehicle glass and I set up appointments for customers at their shop of choice for repairs. The last part of my job was Accident Tow. What I did here, was set up tows for customers who have recently been involved in an accident of some sort (car collision, animals, etc.…) and work to move the vehicle from where it is, to where the customer wants it to go like a shop or, in some cases, their residence. With this job, my perfect attendance was acknowledged as well as received an award for taking the most calls. I also had to document the events of what I did so, if the call ends up in court, then the documentation will show what was done on the call. In a typical day, I work anywhere from 40 to 60 files a day and move anywhere from 20 to 40 cars per day from one place to another.

My job is to work the many different bays and aisles in each, individual, department. I do what is called servicing where I straighten everything up and make sure that everything is set to planogram and that each item is where it is supposed to be and relocate if necessary. I perform periodic inventory of property. I also do resets where we tear down a bay and then set it back up the way the new planogram calls for. This includes moving shelves and beams to the correct heights and even building new bays if necessary. Though not normal, I help customers find things as well as answer whatever questions I am knowledgeable about or find the appropriate person to answer. Typically, my job does not involve customers. I also have to clean each bay that I service; including dusting them and wiping them down to ensure they look their best. I also make sure that each item has a label and then take pictures to have proof the work was accomplished. I typically service anywhere from 20-40 bays per day depending on the difficulty of the bays. In performing a visual inspection, I am able to determine condition of received material and disposition of material accordingly. Worked with Vendors to ensure that product was displayed correctly. Conducts resets of bays that require movement and placement of old and new product. Uses a forklift or narrow reach truck to move product from one area of the store to another.
