• Oversee 315 person, $135M business unit responsible for selling, solutioning, implementing and operating data warehousing and analytics solutions for new and existing state and federal clients.

• Led top line growth of business by more than 120% over last 5 years, increasing annual profitability by more the 5x during same period.

• Define new customer solution offerings and for ongoing contribution to the Optum Data Warehouse product offering, including advanced analytics definition, design and development with Business Intelligence tools, and three Optum-owned products: Optum Performance Analytics for HHS, Fraud & Abuse Detections Systems (FADS) and Management and Administrative Reporting System (MARS).

• State of New York Department of Health, Office of Quality and Patient Safety: As Practice Leader, oversaw the implementation and operations of the nation’s largest All Payer Claims Database (APCD) contract, integrating claims, membership and public health records from all health care delivery sources touching the State of New York’s residents. quality, outbreak, and statewide cost transparency information delivery solution for the State, as well as processing intake of data from over 500 statewide facilities and both public and private health care delivery systems. Over 4 years, grew this contract to over 220% of its original value.

• State of Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services: As Account Leader, oversaw the implementation and operations of the enterprise data warehouse system including the implementation of a base data preparation and management platform, CMS Federal and State Reporting, a Fraud & Abuse Detection Solution and Optum’s Performance Analytics solution. Grew contract by $2M in 2 years, increasing in-year revenues by 15%.

• State of California Department of Health Care Services: As General Manager, was responsible for creating and managing a multi-disciplined project team to deliver the State of California Medicaid (Medi-Cal) data warehouse and MIS/DSS. Over 13 years, grew this contract to over 400% of its original value.

• Federal Office of Personnel Management: As Project Director, oversaw the implementation of the Federal Employee Benefits Program data warehouse.

• State of Indiana Family and Social Services Administration: As Project Director, oversaw the implementation and operations of the enterprise data warehouse and a CMS/Federal reporting solution. Grew contract through 3 renewals, increasing total contract value by 250%.

• State of Washington Department of Social and Health Services. As Program Manager, directed a technical team of seven staff in delivering the State of Washington Medicaid data warehouse and Fraud & Abuse Detection System.

• State of Kansas Department of Health and Environment: As Project Manager, managed a multi- department enterprise data warehouse assessment project
