Developed an updated CFN curve based on the new method for different feed as Hydrocrackate, Naphtha, and Ethane on radiant finned tube and MERT radiant tube furnaces
Bare Radiant Tube Furnace Performance Assessment, Baton Rouge Chemical Plant, Beaumont, TX
Performed a study that evaluated the performance of the LRT-2 furnace which was retrofitted with bare tubes in 2009. Worked with Baton Rouge and team members to find that the fouled convection section was causing boiler feed water to vaporize prematurely in the convection section and that the dilution flow meter accuracy was suspect.
