Current lead for Digital Delivery and BIM Manager in our resources and manufacturing unit, There are 12 staff reporting to me in the Design Office. We do disciplines ranging from structural, mechanical, BMH, piping, civil and infrastructure. We do a lot of BIM integration in our Unit of 135 staff, and always strive to deliver with high quality and client added value for project execution.

CAD Lead for EPCM Projects at TWP ( Whorley Parsons), Johannesburg - (Mr Marius vd Merwe) January 2009 — December 2010

As CAD and lead modeler my duties included the verification of all disciplines and co-ordination of large models that complete the overall project. We did all work in a 3D environment and accurate 3D models and data produced accurate IFC data for construction of the final deliverable for all projects. Managing data and libraries was very important.

CAD administrator and new lead for Ship loader and BMH projects. Oversee project interface and transition from 2D environment to the 3D environment.

Created libraries for std 3D modeling operations and streamline workflows for better delivery on the digital material for clients. Client interfacing to ensure we deliver according to their expectations.

Extra-curricular activities

Design of racing cars for the racing industry. I have successfully designed and completed 3 racing vehicles for the DAKAR Rally scene. One of which will race in the next event, designing the jigs and fixtures and special designed parts for the vehicles including 3D scanning and reverse engineering of components to be made locally.
