Part of AIS FNI/WCM enhancement team that makes analysis based on BFRS created by onshore Team. From the BFRS a structured TRS was conceptualize and submitted to On-shore for their review and final comment. Micro Designs was created based on the TRS, the micro designs will be used in the program revision and development. Program development was done using Synon 2/E and Control Language (CL) as the programming tool for the said project. Assist QA team during the system testing and regression testing before it was released to the onshore team for their User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Customs Compliance Enhancement project covers the following: ensuring that item information, including the factory, is complete before an item may be submitted for setup or update; and providing an easy identification of changes to existing import items for Customs Compliance review and approval. Assortment and Deal project focuses on providing domestic vendors the capability to setup and update assortment or deal items via AIS (Web).

Requirements that have not been considered during (or a deviation from) the implementation of IOS Phase I & II on the creation of offer sheet for imports assortment or deal items will also be in scope. Also in scope is the assignment of WIC and approval of item attribute changes by the Category Manager via AIS Web. Modifications related to the Precision and Scale Enhancement will be considered in the Component Details section. Programs were revised using Synon and CL programs.

AIS Precision and Scales

This Precision and Scale project intends to synchronize the field definitions (specifically the precision and scale) of item attributes which includes dimension, volume, and price/cost fields. This effort aims to address data inconsistencies between AIS and Item as a result of varying implementation approaches (round up/off, truncate) between these systems. In addition, the project aims to implement changes in AIS & Item with the least disruptions to the other downstream applications that utilize the affected fields/files. Programs were revised using Synon and CL programs.

AIS DC Cost Change Management

Provided CPI (Central Pricing Initiative; the group responsible for retail price modeling) group the List and Invoice cost change, and current Departmental cost information submitted by import and domestic vendors on a daily basis. Created programs that will be used in AIS online screen. The program validates cost changes submitted either via web or EDI. Errors will be detected when you submit duplicate cost changes based on WIC, cost and effective date combination. Programs were done in Synon and CL programs.

AIS Import Offer Sheet Phase II

IOS Phase II is the continuation of Phase I where most of the programs revised where done in Synon programs. The AIS team (AS400) have done new programs as well as modified some programs. There are some CL programs created and revised too.

After the initial programming, helped in the testing of the new and revised program. Also helped in the execution of test scripts given by the QA team. After the execution, defects were gathered and started on correcting those reported program bugs. Once all the bugs have been fixed the whole module was turned over to the onshore team for the final UAT and eventually deployment to the production box.

The Adjuster/ Examiner General Information System (A/EGIS II) is the claims processing component of the Strategic Suite of Systems, also known as S3. It is a PC-Based system using a Windows application that operates on a LAN (Local Area Network) and serves as a front-end data capture mechanism to feed claim information to existing corporate back-end systems. It is designed to support day-to-day decision making activities and functions inherent in a claims operation.

The main function of A/EGIS II are: creating and maintaining claims/features, suspended claims, payment transactions, reserve transactions, recovery, batch cheques, policy information, diary and reports.

Worked as a production support Analyst/Programmer for the said project assigned to handle the following countries’ requirements: Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.
