ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

As a safety officer my first and foremost duty is to develop, implement and monitor Board Occupational Health and safety policy, programs, and procedures.

Ensured that every building has passable fire exits.

Conducted safety training and educational talks to different offices.

Ensured that safety equipments are installed in the most accessible place in case of accidents.

Educated the authorities on matters involving safety issues.

Organizing safety awareness training ( Internal ) program for labors.

Arranging and placing safety signage’s on site.

Trying to make work place safe for workers and also to achieve zero accident goals.

To receive reports from and respond to orders issued by Department of labor inspectors.

To assist executive staff, senior administrators, principals and supervisors in emergency preparedness.
