– Division Controller –
Fulfill a critical role as a partner to division president and corporate leadership providing accounting & financial guidance for the Division and individual plants that grew from 1 to 7 business units in US and Canada of a $400M international engineered equipment manufacturing segment of an $800M private equity distributor, manufacturer, and service company serving oil & gas, power generation, transportation, and material handling industries.
Manage and develop a team ranging from 4 to 10 professionals, beginning with 1 location and expanding to over 7 locations, engaged in daily operational and cost accounting activities, monthly closing, financial reporting, and operational KPI reporting.
Reform the organization’s revenue recognition, percentage of completion (POC), process as well as to comply with ASC 606, introduce formal project management and project review procedures and systems that empowered the company to accurately record and predict revenue and profits.
Advised in the planning, training, integration and implementation of Oracle ERP system from JDE that went live in January 2020 to help achieve common systems goal across the company.

– Vice President of Finance and Controller -
Recruited with a mandate to lead all corporate accounting & finance functions at this $30M third party provider of industrial turbine services, with a focus on integrating multiple small acquired entities into one corporate organization with proper policy, procedures, and controls as well as developing financial models, creating budgeting and forecasting tools, and ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and laws.
Facilitated the development of a sophisticated overview of the financial health of the company through the implementation of the “VISaer” ERP platform, which provided corporate leaders with the ability to commit key strategic decisions backed by solid data and information.
Developed and supervised a team of four professionals engaged in accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll across two locations.

– Controller –
Established and maintained traditional controller responsibilities subsequent to the acquisition of Alstom Power Inc. by Siemens industrial turbine manufacturing division in 2003. Directed the integration of systems and processes while assuming an expanded scope of responsibility within a larger team engaged in accounting, financial reporting, and monthly close processes.
Prior to acquisition by Siemens, served an integral role helping the CFO facilitate the company’s entry into North, Central, and South American markets; built a team of professionals and facilities from the ground up installing all necessary internal controls, creating a financial forecasting and budgeting model and advising leadership on how to meet key performance metrics.
Led entities accounting functions, including AR, AP, and Payroll, through a period of rapid growth, expanding from a single client to a diverse set of accounts and positioning the company for acquisition by Siemens.
