Sales Rep / Main Line

I started out as a Sales Rep for The Berkley Group, working out of Vacation Village. My job consisted of meeting new customers coming in for a 2 hour Timeshare Presentation.

I had to explain how Time-Share works and how they all differ from Resort to Resort.

Sales Manager

After one year as a Salesman, I was promoted to a Sales Manager position where I had a team of 10 Salesman, which I had to train and show them how the Timeshares work and how to talk to the customers, without pressuring them.

Sales Director / Closer

I became a Sales Director and Closer a few years later and now had a Team of 30 Salesmen and 3 Managers. As a Director, I would come in after the customers said “they would have to think about it, that they never buy anything without going back home, etc.”

I would come in and show them different programs and how I had an Anytime Price… But, I had a Fantastic Offer to them if they purchased today. I was one of the companies Best Closers they ever had. The Berkley Group has over 40 Resorts and about 3,000 Salespeople.

Project Director

As a Project Director, I now had a Team of 40 Salesmen and 6 Managers, and 3 Directors. After working for the Berkley Group for 23 years, I decided to retire and travel the world, using my Timeshares, with my wife.

I miss talking to customers and meeting strangers, then becoming friends, with people from all around the world.

I love talking to strangers and making them feel like family and convincing them that they could trust me and save thousands of dollars vacationing on 10 cents on the dollar.

I have over 26 years of experience with Customer Service.
