Description

The objective of this project is to enable SAP mobility to allow OQ Field Evaluators to conduct OQ subsequent qualifications in the field and upload the results to the SAP OQ system.

The OQ system is an in-house online and batch SAP system that is used by the OQ department and field supervisors to monitor SCG and SDGE field employees’ qualifications to make sure they follow the CPUC regulations. It is used to house the OQ task specific records of each employee’s OQ qualifications. This system monitors the OQ records for date ranges per employee and per task to establish the timeframe required for their task specific requalification cycle. The requalification cycle varies per task and can range up to 5 years.

eSOA using eCATTs – Enterprise Service Oriented Architecture (CRM Sales): Worked as Q-Contact [Individual Contributor] and involved in maintaining the test scripts, manual testing and automation testing. Run the scripts, analyze the issue and fix the bugs.

Web services are frequently just Internet application programming interfaces (API) that can be accessed over a network, such as the Internet, and executed on a remote system hosting the requested services.

Responsibilities:

●Involved in taking up responsibilities as a Q-Contact for driving new project eSOA for different releases like SP02, SP03, SP04, and EHP1 New Features & Regression.

●Automation script execution for the regression scenarios.

●Was involved in creation of Test catalogs, Test Plans, Test case nodes and assign them to the testers.

●Was involved in planning the resource estimation, effort estimation, setting up the meetings with the team on daily bases.

●Worked closely together with the team to improve the quality of the product and execute all the services within the proposed deadline and improved the reliability of the product.

●Was involved in setting up the system for eSOA project.

●Was involved in analyzing logs for the Red web services, debugging the errors & fixing them when it’s related to customization & test data issue using WS Navigator and SOAPUI.

●Execute web services in SOAPUI, Generate PIC excel from the downloaded ESR services interface, perform Schema Validation and regenerate the proxy, Configure the WS Navigator, Enhance Web services, Schedule the periodic execution of the test packages.

●Troubleshooting the execution of Synchronous and Asynchronous Web Services.

Autistic Team: Working with Specially Challenged Colleagues.

People with disabilities such as autism are usually dependent on others throughout their lives. They lack communication skills, are not social, and businesses generally don’t employ them.

SAP recognized that they had amazing memory and can repeat tasks over and over again—skills that can be used in complex product testing.

Responsibilities:

●We undertook an envious task of training some specially challenged colleagues (autism) for our testing activities.

●This was an extremely challenging project in that no one of us had any prior experience dealing with these kinds of people.

●We were four of us and were completely involved in hiring 4 autistic colleagues and training them
