Professional Experience:

Project – 7: Renault NISSAN Technology Business Center India

Client: RNTBCI

This purpose of this project is to support the teams using internal application platforms of the company. The suppliers and other end users raise queries when faced with trouble using the application.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Senior Japanese Language Expert I facilitate communication between various teams with the Japanese counterparts, over skype meetings, spot interpretation, translation of emails etc

Support the users of applications across the lines, translating queries to Japanese and assign them to L2 support team in Japan.

Once the solution is provided by Japanese team in Japanese language I translate that into English and share it with users.

I am responsible for interpretation,translation and project communication for various projects that involve in maintaining Bigdata, IOT and ELK stack for Japanese counter-part Nissan

Project – 6: Fujitsu Consulting India Pvt Ltd

Client: Jisedai Ginkou

This purpose of this project was to test the efficiency and applicability of an Eclipse IDE inspired tool developed by Japanese team to auto-generate Java Code and help programmers’ team.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

Developed front end web pages according to the specifications given by the client, using HTML, CSS JavaScript

In house eclipse tool to auto generate java code is a mandate in Fujitsu.

Generating the code by giving business logic

Study the Seikabutsu and Test cases and modifying the code as per the standards and requirements of the client

Inter-Developer Design Tool, a eclipse plugin to auto generate efficient and reusable code

Developer inputs the methods and business logic, while the tool generates the code in Java or Cobol.

In projects involving high risk, where the business code has to be perfect this approach has been well received.

The advantage of tool is that code consistency and method names are maintained across the project and reusability and maintenance is ensure at the coding level itself.

This mode has efficiently reduced the manual tasks for the team.

Regular meeting with Japanese colleagues to realize the weeks data flow and update the customer details in the system.

Up skilling myself with latest technologies in IT like Big data, and Angular 6 and getting certified so as to be ready to take up projects as and when requirement arises as a part of Fujitsu Centre of Excellence initiative.

Teaching colleagues Japanese language as a part of Human Capital Development initiative in Fujitsu Chennai Location.

Project – 5: TechMahindra

The purpose of this project was to evaluate the search results of Microsoft Bing used by Japanese users, rate it on various parameters of relevance and completeness to the corresponding queries input by the Japanese users and improve the future experience.

Client: Microsoft Bing

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

Worked to develop efficient search result for Microsoft Bing Search Engineer

As the Hitapps runs behind, I read the Japanese content in the web pages of various search results

Rate the web page on Bad, Good,Excellent and Perfect scale

Depending on the rating given by the language specialist the search results and experience would be modified and updated for the users who input the queries.

Project – 4: Kantar

Client: Kirin Beer, coca cola, various soft drink companies and some consumer good companies across APAC

The purpose of this project was to assist companies with software web that facilitates conducting mass survey and collect the data as a part of Saas. This facilitates their future decision making.

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

Developed Front End pages using HTML CSS and JavaScript code for the APAC Survey projects, based the Questionnaires received from clients

Some prestigious clients included Kirin Beer Company, Coca Cola and other soft drink companies.

The aim is to capture consumer data and serve it to the clients across APAC so that the clients make better marketing decisions and improvements in their products

Involved in translating Code specification from Japanese to English and facilitating weekly calls between Japanese team and Indian team to understand the project requirements.

Involved in creating design layouts with the latest web and accessibility standards.

Involved in the front end design and integration.

Fixing and debugging many cross browser compatible issues related to UI

Data about portfolio managers and fund managers across Japanese market

Update on NIKKEI and other Japanese Venture Capitals

This involved direct interaction with various native Japanese portfolio managers and fund managers and email communication

The Ipreo users would then make their investment decisions based on the inputs provided by us, research analysts on the market.

Project – 2: TCS

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

As a part of TechComm Technical Writer, I got involved in proof-reading and technical documentation that helps people understand and use products or services that are developed by teams across various projects. This documentation includes online help, manuals (system, end-user, and training), white papers, design specifications, project plans, test plans, business correspondence, etc. This has helped me gain confidence in my English Language capabilities

Conducted English and Communication training sessions for various teams across TCS at regular intervals to help the techies gain confidence to interact with clients overseas, write flawless emails and document the project efficiently.
