I am writing to inquire about the possibility of working as a regular pharmacist at your institution. It would be an exciting opportunity for me to work at your location to improve quality of life and the health outcomes of patients at your location.

I have been working as a pharmacist with Rexall since 2011 during which I have seen a variety of medical conditions and prescriptions, dealt with different health care professionals, specialists, general practitioners, dentists, nurses and care givers. I have resolved a lot of medical issues and concerns, worked with different types of patients from elderly people at long term facilities to young children and babies. During that period of time, development has never stopped, ranging from my daily readings e.g. CPS/Therapeutic choices/Bugs and Drugs to identify and resolve health related problems, preparing for my CEs.

I am authorized to administer injections since 2012 and I have obtained my Additional Prescribing Authorization (APA) status February 2015. Since then I have been working hard to enrich my medical knowledge in the areas where I need to prescribe such as Travel vaccinations and allergic rhinitis medicines. I always feel comfortable adapting and writing new prescriptions if necessary in the areas that I am expert in. I always conduct care plans e.g. CACP and SMMA whenever possible. I am aware of all eligibility requirements and documentation procedure.

I am professional in dealing with Nexxsys pharmacy software and has some knowledge of Health watch, Kroll and Simplicity softwares.

I also have obtained MSc and PhD in pharmaceutical chemistry where I conducted research under direct supervision and independently. I also learned how to work in a team work and learned how to supervise and mentor other students to conduct a research under my direct supervision.

With this background, I think it is the time now for me to transform my pharmacy knowledge and gain experience at working in your hospital.
