Senior Technical Project Manager

Contracted by FIS to oversee the implementation of Oracle’s Exadata appliances for their Unity Wealth Management Platform. This encompassed the management of FIS’s Infrastructure, Network, offshore DBA team and coordination of the Oracle installation team. The Exadata appliances were stood up in Test, Stage and Production environments.

Planned the migration and testing of the Unity application from AIX to Linux. Worked with the DBA team to ensure the application would run properly in the Linux OS. Scripts were developed to measure the application’s performance in the new Exadata Linux environment.

KBC Bank, New York NY 12/2017 – 06/2019

Senior Technical Project Manager

Managed a team of BAs and DBAs that identify data elements required to satisfy reporting requirements outlined by Senior Business Stakeholders.

Worked with the tech team to migrate the required data from the Bank’s Oracle Enterprise Data Warehouse (eDW). ETL the data to a SQL database. Microstrategy was used to provide Senior Management with reports and realtime dashboards.

Citi, Tampa FL. 06/2016 - 08/2017 Senior Program Manager – AML Technology

Worked with the Anti Money Laundering (AML) and Global Sanctions Compliance teams to plan, monitor and control the execution of their CitiScreening IT projects portfolio. Reviewed existing program and portfolio management processes and tools. Proposed and implemented workflow improvements and provided the portfolio managers and senior management with accurate project status reporting.

Worked with the CitiScreening and application project managers to identify data required for the Citiscreening system and ensured that the pertient data was loaded into Citiscreenings big data backend.

Held weekly sessions with the individual project managers to discuss project status, and to review risks, issues and their remediation. Acted in the capacity of “Coach”, with the project managers to provide encouragement and guidance with complex projects.

Senior Technical Program Manager

Contracted by PWC to support their Marketing and Sales, and Ethics and Compliance IT projects portfolio. Managed the upgrade and enhancement of PWC’s Business Intelligence (BI) tool Microstrategy, to the current version 10 platform.

Managed the team that migrated data from PWC’s “Big Data” SAP Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to their Oracle Enterprise Data Warehouse (eDW). Utilized Informatica to ETL the data to a SQL database. Microstrategy was used to provide Senior Management with reports and realtime dashboards.

Lead the team that upgraded and enhanced the company’s, US/UK, mobile CRM tool (IRIS). This involved moving the app. from its existing technology platform Kony to Cordova Angular, and modifications to its SAP data warehouse backend.

Worked with PWC’s Security Engineering team to upgrade the firm’s Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution. The platform was moved from RSA enVision to their next generation platform, Security Analytics ver. 10.

Wellcare, Tampa FL. 06/2013 – 08/2014

Senior Technical Program Manager

Lead IT Infrastructure Project Manager supporting Wellcare’s Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) team. Utilizing an Agile methodology, directly managed the integration of Windsor Health Group, Sterling Insurance and EasyChoice Health Plans to the Wellcare corporate IT infrastructure standard.

Provided project management support to Wellcare’s Information Security (InfoSec) team’s initiatives. Managed the upgrade and enhancement of InfoSec tools, IBM Qradar SIEM, Symantec DLP, Rapid7 nexpose. Executive Program Manager - Director

Contracted by IBM Executive Management to provide Executive Project Management expertise to their Global Solutions team. Worked in the capacity of Agile Scrum Master, organizing the development of IBM’s global product offerings. The product offerings included; Cloud, Network, Storage, Server, Mainframe, Security, Service Desk and Disaster Recovery.

Directed the individual offering teams with the development of their offering’s features. Supported the Smart Cloud Enterprise Plus (SCE+) Offering Team in the development of the offering. Organized the training/education of over 400 Technical Solutions Managers and Architects worldwide on the Smart Cloud Enterprise Plus Offering.

Managed an IBM Account Team with the implementation of a Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solution for their client Viewpointe. The design included the deployment of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), utilizing Citrix XenApp and VMware VCenter servers. Two factor authentication was achieved by integrating RSA appliance, Active Directory (AD) and Citrix. Cisco Ironport (ESA) and (WSA) appliances were deployed for Email security and file transfer monitoring.

KBC Bank, New York NY 02/2000 – 12/2008

Contracted by the bank to act as the Chief Information Officer for US operations, reporting directly to the Chief Operation Officer, US.

Managed all aspects of a 48-member IT department’s day-to-day activities, including personnel evaluations. Responsible for the support and operation of the bank’s network, computer/server assets, and trading floor support systems, CHIPS, SWIFT, and back-office reporting systems.

Tracked information technology capital expenditures and weekly operational costs. Managed critical path activities, and resource allocation. Created documentation required for capitalization of labor and non-labor costs for risk technology projects.

Worked with internal audit as well as federal and state banking regulators to guarantee that KBC met all regulations as they pertain to data processing integrity and security.

Managed a combined Lucent-IBM Project Management team responsible for the largest global deployment of an MS NT Network and MS Exchange/Outlook E-Mail.

Successfully managed the rollout of over 4000 servers supporting the MS NT network and MS Exchange for over 125,000 users. Managed the Transition Teams that migrated Lucent’s existing email networks, systems and message formats to the new corporate standard.
