I am a self driven, determined and hardworking person, driven by optimism and ready to take up challenges enabling me to achieve the desired goals. I am not the finished article yet, but I have the practical experience that would make my area of operation be of great success.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Position: Head of Sales and Reservations Consultant
Areas of responsibility:
Tour Packages and Fit’s: Creating new safari details for the guests and making itineraries as per requested and advise accordingly based on clients taste and preference. It entails packaging it in an affordable but appropriate way to satisfy the needs of the clients.
File handling: Involved opening of the files according to the client’s request and maintaining it until the client completes his/her safari. It comprises of all the details of the guest while on safari, and this is to ensure follow up of the guest.
Customer service: Constant communication with both local and overseas agents as well as direct clients to help organize their safari.
Tour costing: Comprises of pricing the quotation for the clients and giving them the cost of all services provided to enable him/her make a financial decision.
Camp/Lodge Booking: Managing the Offbeat portfolio camps and lodge bookings as well as running their booking sheets.

Position: Tour Consultant
Areas of responsibility:

Hotel Bookings: Communication with the reservation clerks to checking availability and Reserving rooms in the Hotels, Lodges and camps as requested by the client.
Receiving and making payments: This involved receiving payments from clients and paying the service providers. As for the corporate clients, we raise the LPO through which we receive payments later. For some service providers we make prepayments before the clients check-in although this entirely depends on the contract between the company and the suppliers.
Customer service: Meeting and greeting the clients at the airport, as well as briefing them on their oncoming safari and the general information about the country.
Block Booking: Creating of charts to block the rooms in advance to avoid inconveniences caused by last minute bookings where no rooms are available.
