Project Name & Location: QIT Electrical master plan Implementation. Eket.

Project features: Design reviews of HT switchgears, RMUs/Transformers & LV cables systems: QA/QC (Independent commissioning services, SSHE Co-ordination).

Client: Mercury Engineering for ExxonMobil Producing, Nigeria, Un-Limited.

Positions held: Lead Electrical Engineer.

Detailed Tasks as Accomplished: (a) Contractors’ equipment submittals Reviews (reviewed contractor’s project materials quantities for completeness & correctness & for compliance with the owner’s project requirements (OPR) and basis of design (BOD)

(b)Engineering Reviews (Project Quality scrutiny – reviewed design/construction documents for compliance with required standards & codes of practice): General design document reviewed & verification of compliance to specifications was ascertained; deviations from the standards/codes (GP) were identified, and intent document is realized through non- conformance closure exercises). Finally, commissionable items & commissionable activities with their commissioning inspection and test plan checklists were developed as required. (A) Designs, technical & inter-discipline interfacing.

Reviewed project technical documentation and specifications in comparison with design data, drawings and BEME for HVAC and LVAC systems.

Established compliance of project documentation with project requirements: (verifications to meet safety requirements of relevant standards & codes: NEC, ANSI/NFPA70, ICEA, API RP 14F etc), Conduct project risk review to identify associated risks and propose mitigation measures to limit liabilities and consequential damages thereof.

Developed scope of responsibilities and baseline plans for projects along agreed performance targets by establishing required key results areas for subcontractors and junior engineers.

Evaluated total work scope; Carried out technical coordination and interfacing with other disciplines.

Advised specifications and sizes of power and control cables for connecting transformers from 11kv indoor switchboards. Generate cable schedule and routes between control room and switchyard.

Carried out site measurements, take-off materials, evaluated man-hours and prepared cost- estimates for electrical baseline budgeting.
