PROFILE

For the past 20 years I’ve been a logistics and supply chain professional. I have been involved with every type of logistics including trains, planes, barges, and trucking. Logistics has brought me as far north as the North Pole and as far south as the US Mexican border in Texas. I have experience in buying, sales, and I have being on both ends of the negotiating table of contract management and customer service. I am passionate about increasing efficiency within supply chains and building revenue. I am looking for an opportunity where I can leverage my extensive experiences in supply chain and logistics while diversifying my skill base. I appreciate exciting new challenges and have a thirst for learning.

AFD Petroleum – Senior Logistics Planner

January 2020 – February 2021

Managed dispatch across BC, Alberta, and the Yukon.

Maximized proficiencies across all bases while driving operational efficiencies. Created a single-point logistics throughout all of AFD. I created and maximized loads between 40 drivers to increase company wide efficiency. I increased our efficiency by 60 percent. Reduced 3 rd party work by 25 percent. Total of 480000 in savings.

Logistics Dispatch Consultant

August 2016 – December 2019

Consulted for various fuel hauling companies to improve operational efficiency.

Managed trucking for a brand new coal mine account.

Managed inventories for up to 400 customers daily. Ensuring full payloads of 36k to 48k per load.using 4 different logistics management systems. Managing over 100 loads per day.

Implementation of company diversification. Creating a chemical branch and a water well branch. Opened a new Fox Creek base and created the business to keep this base.

Shell Canada - Logistics Lead

January 2011 - May 2015

Created a 1 stop shop for all logistics between all business groups in upstream americas. Leveraged the main point contact to improve contracts. Managed 167 trucking and camps companies to ensure our contractual obligations were me. These accounts were 500MM per year. I was able to change our rates and increased efficiencies by creating per cube rates. I saved our company 250 million per year. Lead the implementation of 3PL (3rd party logistics) within upstream America’s.

Aerodrome operations Manager

I contracted to several different companies as an aerodrome and logistics specialist. I have managed all operations ramp, runways, passenger check in. I was a deice specialist I have my own deicing training program. I also ran airports for companies like Stat Oil, Shell, Newmont Mining. Airports in Alberta and Nunavut and NWT.
