TAKEDA PHARMACEUTICALS

2010 – 2020 Manager, Records Operations Center

Responsible for decommissioning the Takeda Deerfield campus facility for records management. Manage day to day records management activities in the Records Operations Center. Responsibilities include managing a staff of 8 employees and 3 contractors who support internal clients in the processing of their records. Support includes indexing and scanning documents into the records management system (RMS), storage and retrieval of documents, etc. Develop and implement policies, operating procedures, filing agreements, and work instructions for records management global operations.

Administer the RMS system for global use.

Active member of Quality Assurance Inspection Readiness Team in preparation for Inspections and Audits of records management functions.

HOSPIRA, Inc

2007 - 2010 Group Leader, Records Management

Supervise Records Management analysts in all aspects of retention program including policy and procedure creation, implementation, and maintenance, retention scheduling, regulation research, etc.

Key liaison with The History Factory, an outside consultant, for coordination of Abbott archives. Managed the Pharmacy portion of Abbott House project including identifying efficient processes for review, selection, display, and disposition of artifacts. Coordinated activities related to cabinetry, lighting, and accessories for the Pharmacy.

2004 Manager, Corporate Records Compliance and Training Develop and manage a company-wide compliance and training program for Records Management for all domestic locations and Puerto Rico. In addition, responsible for all Corporate Records communications.

Major initiatives for 2004:

Developed a company-wide training program including a web-based company records certification module for all managers and a general awareness training module for all employees.

Developed and piloted a records management assessment process to evaluate effectiveness of and the compliance to the records management program.

Developed and published in conjunction with CIT all E-records communications.
