I took an internship at Bazian Power Plant, which produces electricity, and I was there for more than 104 hours. From this internship, I learned a lot about how power plant produces electricity, the way gas turbine cooperates with generators, and the auxiliary parts of gas turbine generators. Also, I learned how can we choose pump type regarding to its function, and I spent part of my internship with the maintenance guys while they were working.
I took another internship at Ala Company, which produces all types of water bottles, and I was there for more than 56 hours. From this internship, I learned the process of making water bottles and the common errors that the machines face. Also, I learned the steps of troubleshooting that the mechanical engineers follow at that company. At this internship, I was with the maintenance engineers mostly while they were working.
My capstone project was about Solar Powered Grass Cutter, and it took me two semesters to make that project.
I was taking a training at the Slemani Recycling Project about the procedure of recycling at that project, and I learned about which things they can recycle and which things they cannot with the reasons behind it. Also, I learned how the machines recycle recyclable things.
I was taking a training at Bazian Refinery, and the training was provided by our university. I learned a lot from this training about the process of refinery.
I was working as civ tutors for more than 1.5 years at the American university of Iraq, Sulaymaniyah.
Volunteer Experience
I was a library assistant at AUIS for one month.
I was a member of environment keeper group at AUIS, and I participated in almost all the activities of this group.
I was volunteering as an outrider for the new students when they came to AUIS.
I was volunteering with my friends when we collected and bought essential goods for the refugees in Arbat.
