Worked from Chennai, India for a global comparative study program for students scrutinized and selected from various universities such as Harvard, Brown and Yale. My role was to be an important part of coordination team for 4 programs (Spring 2011, Spring 2012, Fall 2012, Spring 2013) for 2 months of pre-preparation work and six weeks while the students were in India.
Major Responsibilities:
•Creating a database of all the home-stay families and arranging meeting with them to brief them about the program and discuss with them their roles and responsibilities
•Assigning students to home-stay families.
•Finalizing home-stay payment.
•Directing students to different places in the city according to their interests and study.
•Segregating groups for local projects, identifying and facilitating field visits relevant to their projects.
