Objective : Learning the concepts of heat transfer. Description : Working model of a solar collector used to utilize the waste form of Heat from the sun.

1. Title : PERFORMANCE AND CHARACTERISTICS TEST OF DIESEL ENGINE BY USING VARIOUS BLENDS OF ANIMAL

OIL AND VEGETABLE OIL.

Objective : To use the naturally synthesized fuels in vehicles to meet the run off the fuel needs

Description : In this experiment three different fuel samples are taken for testing such as D100 (100% Diesel), D90+WVO 5+AFO 5 (10% animal and vegetable oil & 90% Diesel) and D70+WVO 15+AFO 15 (20% Animal and vegetable oil & 70% Diesel). A single cylinder research engine was used to determine the effect of fuel injection strategies and fuel injection timings on the performance characteristics The mass emission characteristics of different exhaust gases (CO2, CO, HC & NOX) for different at varying experimental conditions. The results shows that the standard injection timing (23o) to obtain the values of D90+WVO 5+AFO 5 & D70+WVO 15+AFO 15 emissions were higher than the diesel. So, by varying the injection timing to get the results.
