Part of my daily work duties aside from managing inmate crews, was to prepare and execute a systematic approach to maintaining and repairing facility grounds and equipment. I was responsible for servicing air conditioning units, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and planning the weekly work schedule. I also produced daily reports, which included safety inspections and inventory. I also conducted quarterly audits for the facility to ensure policy and regulations were being followed.
