MAJOR ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

-Successfully deployed Sage Accounting Software (Line 50) for usage for invoicing, credit control and Debtor analysis and control in former Zeneca Pharmaceutical, later Astrazeneca, and now Real Pharmaceutical Limited, Lagos Nigeria in December 1999/January 2000, meeting up with the deadline of Jan. 15th 2000, thereby saving the whole department of salary cut.

-Singlehandedly deployed and enable the usage of inventory models of sage line 50, Accounting Software for tracking of inventory and control of same both in the head office, and 4 regional offices of Kaduna, Aba, Benin and Kano and later Ibadan.

-Introduced the monthly reports, to help in determining the debtor profile of each sales representatives, institutional customers and retailers, thereby arriving at the quarterly debt profile, sales champion product champion and same used in calculating commissions for representatives.

-Successfully got self-accounting status for the Centre for Satellite Technology Development (CSTD), Abuja in 2006, after rigorous inspection and interviews from the Government Area from office of the Accountant General of the Federation (AGF).

-Started the implementation of Payroll Accounting with the deployment of NAAPS Accounting Software in payrolling, and later the deployment of system spec payroll modules 2 years before the introduction of Partial E-payment by the Federal Government, this enable all our staff to receive their salaries at the same time, thereby sidestepping the earlier mode of up to one week before staff receive their salaries after payment.

-Preparation of Management Accounts for the centre and agency I worked with.

-Providing adequate leadership to all the staff that worked under me, most of them succeeded in starting and completed their academic endeavours without affecting their work adversely in the office.

2003 – 2006 Centre for Satellite Technology Development (CSTD) an activity arm of National Space Research and Development Agency (NASRDA) under the auspices of the Federal Ministry of Science and Technology (FMST) as Higher Executive Officer (Accounts) and later redesignated as Head of Accounts after qualifying as Chartered Accountant.
