To Whom it May Concern,

I offer a demonstrated track record of success with supporting program development, field work, and data analysis projects. My experience with the Ministry of Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP) for the past months as an Environmental Assistant has provided me with in-depth knowledge and comprehension of environmental programs, and provincial regulations and guidelines. I have been responsible for conducting various supporting tasks related to maintaining water quality throughout Ontario. Projects and their implementation often required me to collaborate with multiple different branches within the MECP. I have been responsible for conducting the analysis and documentation of various environmental approval, licensing and permits programs to identify data trends and assist in the delivery of these programs. My role has also majorly included the assessment of risk and analysis of various business processes in relation to program business objectives and regulatory requirements. Through my experience with Alamos Gold and my academic experience, I have developed a strong foundation in hydrogeological processes such as soil integrity studies, buffering capacities and fluid dynamics in soils. Surface and groundwater sampling and testing done at Alamos allowed me to apply knowledge learned through my coursework. This further encouraged me to pursue more specialization in hydrogeology as I became a student member of the Professional Geoscientists Ontario (PGO). I have gained the ability to work independently and as a team member to meet priority requests and project deadlines undertaken by the team. My school and on the job experiences have given me the ability to ensure my method of communication whether it is oral or written is effective in situations where the subject matter is complex scientific and technical material to be suitable to convey to a variety of audiences.

My experience working in different types of jobs (office work, field work, volunteer work) has taught me the importance of building relationships and understanding with those I work with to inspire a shared project vision. I can bring to this role, experience in developing successful project plans, communicating expectations clearly, and encouraging team enthusiasm. I take pride in handling sensitive matters with compassion, diplomacy and proven tact. My willingness to learn and take on opportunities that are presented to me have helped me develop gratification in my work which has helped me successfully provide leadership in projects assigned to me. I am able to effectively use my time, organizational and prioritizing skills to maintain quick turnaround times in an evolving environment. I am committed to continued growth while applying my talents to help various areas of the team. Please find my resume attached for your consideration. Please feel free to contact me at 289-***-**** or by email at ***************@*****.***.

Best Regards,

Syed Mansoor
