Experience at a glance : Having more than twenty four(24) years of rich and vast
experience in materials management at different
types of manufacturing units.I have set up stores in five blade manufacturing units as well as mould &tower manufacturing unit. My experience consists of (i) maintaining of raw materials, spares and maintenance items (ii) dispatch of raw materials to different manufacturing units & sites (iii) maintaining of incoming materials, issuing of materials through SAP system, (iv) monthly and quarterly checking of materials in stores (i.e. book stock v/s physical stock) (v) facilitating the auditing of stores by external and internal auditors(vi) strictly following the procedures under ISO9001-2008, EHS14001, OHSAS 18001-2007(vii) commercial activities and dispatch of fasteners, spares, raw material and finished goods to different sites/production unit (viii) fulfillment of all CENVAT procedures of manufacturing industry and (ix) maintenance of all excise records and liaison with excise authorities. (x) ABC analysis of all raw materials, spares etc (xi) inventory control on raw materials, Consumables, spares and project items etc.(xii) Looking after domestic purchases and local purchases for production and project.(xiii) currently maintaining incoming of all consumables, raw materials, spares,project items and issuing the material to various contractors and sub-contractors and also production dept as per their requirements. (xiv) Currently taking care of entire stores activities of blade unit and tower unit (Windmill). (xv) taking care of scarp management.(xvi) taking care of warehouse activities which include inward delieveries-imports,cfa’s and also out bound deliveries to various customer’s and cfa’s.(xvii) achieving the warehouse objectives in time- delivery of goods within 24 hours.(xviii)Based on stock aging the goods are moved to different cfa’s(xix) PR for packing material is raised based on the stocks available in the warehouse. (xx) Various finished products are stacked and kept at the designated place based on the temperature mentioned on the mono carton.(xxi) Based on the product temperature the consignment will be decided whether to send the material by Air or by Surface.(xxii) regular coordination is been done with the courier’s and transport agencies to lift the material from the warehouse within the stipulated period.
