Mini Project:
Project Title: Alcohol Detection using Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Project Objective: Detects amount of alcohol present in driving driver. Project Description: In this system we’ve used alcohol sensor MQ3 for alcohol detection, for controlling we’ve used Raspberry Pi 3 model B & to convert analog value to digital we’ve used ADC. As per increase in the percentage of alcohol, output voltage increases and digital value displayed on screen also goes on increas- ing. This would be constantly monitoring the driver breath. So if driver is drunk and tries to drive, the system detects amount of alcohol present in his breath.
Major Project:
Project Title: Drowsiness Detection using Raspberry Pi 3 Model B Project Objective: Detects the level of drowsiness present in driving driver. Project Description: Fatigue driving is one of the major cause of road accidents in the world. This process helps to decrease the accidents and save the life. In case of drowsiness detection, first the camera module captures the human face image using Haar Cascade Classifier and then detect the eyes and eye blinking rate of driver is calculated if it increases above threshold then it will detect the state of drowsiness and provide a real time warning to driver with the help of an alarm. NoIR(no infrared) camera sensor is used to detect the face. Open CV and Dlib are the modules of python used in this project for detecting face and facial landmarks. Academic Background
