Jackson Plaza – Fundamentals

During my clinical rotation at Jackson Plaza, I worked alongside the registered nurse and other health care providers in assessing, planning, and managing care of elderly patients. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, most of my clinical experience has been through the Ihuman virtual simulations. However, critical care is my passion. I am highly teachable and eager to provide safe and compassionate care.

Work Experience: My current position as a nurse help aid/ transporter allowed me to visually assess a variety of patients from intensively ill to postoperative during safe transport and also maintaining safe transport of E-cylinder oxygen tanks, closed chest drainage tube systems, IV infusion poles, urinary catheters and more. The previously held position as a Medical Scribe required me to be a personal assistant for over eight different healthcare providers ranging from Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants in locations from Washington to California. The student assistant position allowed engagement of high-level customer service skills with a variety of clients, from various nationalities and different student needs. I have developed specific skills in dealing with the diverse needs of the community in different situations, while staying focused on one goal, client satisfaction and a superb experience.
