AccuWeather - Digital Journalist -- January 2020-Present

• Wrote over 100 articles since January 2020 for an international audience that varied from enterprise pieces to breaking news surrounding weather, science, environment and health that have also appeared on Yahoo News, MSN and a variety of other local news outlets through a wire service

• Managed liveblogs for coronavirus pandemic and severe weather in the United States, wrote entries and repackaged regularly to keep them looking fresh on the website homepage

• Managed @BreakingWeather Twitter account with an outreach of over one million followers

• Worked evenings and weekends without supervision which required quick decision-making, advanced understanding of AP style, editing abilities and multitasking as I managed social media posts, live blogs, breaking news and making arrangements to the website homepage all at once while also monitoring severe weather on a daily basis

The Daily Collegian - News Editor -- August 2019-December 2019

• Lead a staff of 30 reporters alongside one other editor and ran weekly news staff meetings to assess the progress of the staff, create goals for the following weeks and brainstorm for future stories

• Was available 24 hours a day to edit breaking news, edited stories that were scheduled weekly, designed newspaper pages, managed social media accounts and contributed to breaking news when needed
