K’MX 413 Manurhin project (2017-2019)
I was responsible for handling Design Project of 4+2 Axes, •12,000 RPM multi path spindles, • 25,000 mm/min Rapid acceleration • Fanuc 0i- TF CNC system.• Spindle power 3.7/5.5 KW • 16 mm dia bar capacity. Lead Electrical Design Engineer on the project. Implemented electrical circuit and logic changes which included ladder programming as per the customer’s requirements. • Interfaced Prometec’s Tool monitoring system on 4 axes Sliding Headstock machine.
Heracles 24 Pallet Changer & Heracles 33 Pallet Changer.(Asst. Design Enginer) (2017) Heracles 24 PC & Heracles 33 PC are VMCs with automatic pallet changing facility, worked on this project as an assistant design engineer. Modified and improved the hydraulic system’s ladder logic interlocks as per the specific requirements of the clients. Made several changes in the bill of material (BOM) to reduce the cost of the machine.
Represented Galaxy- Tajmac Machinery at IMTEX-19 and KASSAI at BEIC, Bengaluru.
5S leader for a zone in Galaxy Machinery Pvt. Ltd. Implemented 5S methodology in a zone in the company and received 3rd place for the implementation by my team, • The focus was more onto improvement of the quality of our service, product and documentation. PROJECTS
Title Smart Tool Monitoring System using FreeRTOS as middleware February, 2021 Course Post Graduation Diploma in Embedded Systems Design Platform STM32F407VG-Disc0, USB -OTG host mode, Embedded C, FreeRTOS and FATFS middleware Description An industrial machine based Smart tool monitoring system. In CNC machines, monitoring the health of the tool is necessary to avoid accidents and breakdowns. Tool operation produces vibrations and these vibrations are almost identical for same tool cutting operation.
Implementation of this project realizes these vibrations taken from tool and based on the algorithm real-time output and control signals are sent to the CNC machine to instantly stop if any variation in the Tool cutting operation.
This Project involves Hybrid Modelling, which utilizes both HAL stack services and FreeRTOS services and also various tasks like Writing a file using FATFS, reading from a file stored in USB drive and its algorithm’s task all synchronised while executing.
Two mode of operations: 1 : ideal data storing in the memory. 2: retrieving same data and comparing it with real-time data.
