Experience:
I am a very polite and professional person to have on your team, with experience in customer services, working on tills and on shop floors in numerous environments, such as in various restaurants and shops. I have a proven ability to “up sell” products and have familiarity with POS system and common machinery used in the business industry e.g. tills, coffee machines etc. I am fast at learning new systems and can communicate effectively using ICT and various types of software. I also have effective math skills, which I have had to use on many occasions when calculating customer bills.
I am confident with customers and am able to meet their needs with professionalism and courtesy. I am a fast learner and I am always willing to learn new skills and techniques in an effort to develop my abilities. I am good at organising and working collaboratively with others to make an effective team player. I am a ‘hands on’ person, being able to adapt to different tasks and situations. I have good people skills as I have the confidence and ability to approach people and have conversations in a working environment. I have also had to deal with challenging situations when customers have had grievances to address.
I really enjoy working with people and have received many compliments for my waitressing skills by customers who have often rewarded me with generous tips. Customers have often praised me for my professional, polite attitude and for the care and attention; I have given them during their meals. I recently served one of the managers who worked at ‘Purple Bricks’ in the West Midlands region and he encouraged me to get in touch if I was ever interested in a career with the company as he felt I would have the right skills set and aptitude for the job. I sadly lost contact with him but despite this, I decided to take his advice and give it a shot. Hobbies or outside interests

Finally:
As a young person, I like to enjoy a busy and vibrant social life with my friends and family. On occasions, I travel to London to stay in and around Kensington for weekends away with my Mum or Dad to explore London and its many attractions. In particular, we enjoy a good West End play after a nice meal out and a cocktail or two in some of the best bars in London. On special occasions such as for Birthdays we sometimes book table’s at Michelin restaurants such as Simpsons, Turners and Purnells as we love a bit of fine dining and class ourselves as ‘foodies’. My Mum is an amazing cook and she has taught me some great skills in the kitchen so I help to cook meals for my siblings and parents on some weekends. My favourite meal I like to cook currently is the French dish ‘Duck with Dauphinoise potatoes in a red wine jeu.
Since I was the age of 4, my family and I have travelled to the Charente in France for our Summer holidays. The climate there is fantastic and the slow French way of life is so relaxing. We have had some amazing times out there and in particular, the food we cook and eat in France is worth the journey alone.
I used to practice Wado Ryu Karate in my younger days and achieved a brown belt after many years of training, which was quite an achievement for me and one I was really proud of. I used to fight in competitions and won quite a few trophies. I now prefer to train in my local gym to keep fit and relieve stress. I still train with my Dad on focus pads sometimes and he teaches me some great self- defence techniques as he keeps telling me, ‘’you never know when you might need it Tash’’! On less frantic weekends, I prefer quiet nights in and love getting cosy under a blanket in front of the TV. I love doing family time on such weekends when we chill out, have a nice 3-course meal and a cheeky bottle of Proseco. I also love a good movie and my favourites are presently, ‘Catch me if you can’, ‘Avatar’ and the ‘Hobbit Trilogy’.
