The Project involves support/change management, maintenance and development of the business objects reports. BOCC (Business Object Competency center) provides comprehensive services, cost effectives to enhance the performance and availability of application for the betterment of the business and deliver a high quality service with adherence to SLA of handling the BO configuration issues, Bug fixing, Report/Universe changes and coordinating with Third line support in fixing software related bugs or issues with the BO Vendor and for updating the service packs provided by the Vendor.

• The scope of the Application (Global Energy Components) is to support and maintain the Energy Components Business Objects Solution, which consists of administration and support activities for Business Objects User(s)/ Group(s)/ Report(s)/ Universe(s) that includes

• Information Management (Management of Universes – Providing Access, Import / Export of Universe, Integrity Checks and Pointing of Universes to different OU connections )

• Storage Management (Management of Universe / Document Domains – Providing Access for a User or Group)

The EP Catalog has been globally deployed across the Shell organization. The Shell libraries and external content have been indexed into the EP Catalog The EP Catalog has been built upon the Lotus Domino platform and is tightly integrated with the Livelink Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). Contains Data related to HIS, Shell Library, AHA as well

The E&P Catalog provides an information publishing and search environment integrating with Livelink. Due larger volume of data, and optimize the faster accessibility EP Catalog publishing has been integrated with SharePoint 2013. Project is more specific about migrating the published items on Livelink to SharePoint 2013 via Ep Catalog. Application has feature of migrating attachment and triggering in queue migrations.
