●Compiling and maintaining on site records, including daily dairies and work orders.
●Organising my drawing registers, concrete registers and other admin work relating to structural and architectural drawings.
●Using the Dumpy level and total station to survey, pre and post Check for concrete levels
●Performing Pre and post concrete inspections.
●Supervising of trade works I.e. plumbing, glass façade installation, structural steel installation etc.
●Management of material on sit, Stock level reporting and procurement planning.
●Working with the safety officers to ensure compliance and a safe working environment.
●Drawing up FEQs/technical queries pertaining any works on site that needs clarification.
●Making sure all worked including Subcontractors works are completed and completed on time.
● Constantly inspect all works on site, assuring that work is done on time, good quality is maintained throughout construction. Say for example tiling commences. I would check if they are doing the work correctly and rectify where need be till the work is completed. Same for concrete works, roofing, glass and door installations.
●Where possible and safe to do so, physically perform tasks which the general workers are expected to I.e. I would often put on a pair of gloves, and then mix concrete with the general workers. I would mix concrete and prepare concrete for the cube crush testing. I would help the plumber with his installations especially if he is working alone. I would help my team with the lifting of paving blocks, operate the coring machine, clean up after concrete poring, lay 3 or 4 rows of bricks during bricklaying.
