Job Description:

● Carries out routine maintenance and testing activities.

● Completes fault-finding and repair of mechanical systems and equipment.

● Modifies, repairs or replaces systems and equipment Installs new systems and equipment as required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Verify product dimensions, color, texture and strength and locate imperfections

● Check levels of liquids and gasses, verify that parts move correctly and test the proper fit of components

● Monitoring, testing and inspecting products to make sure they meet specified standards

● Test products to determine how long they will last, what part may break down first and how to improve product durability

● Inspect product materials, mechanics and electrical systems.

● Drive continuous improvement projects to increase productivity, eliminate scrap and reduce rework operations

● Oversee assembly documentation and test procedures to achieve high pass rates for quality.

● Collaborate with design and development engineers to ensure all product and system requirements are defined and documented for a controlled process implementation in production.

● Prepares product quality reports and metrics tracking charts by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
