Recruited internally to manage this small technology department. Responsible for contributing to the Six Sigma initiative by automating tasks within Citizens Bank to save money, improve efficiency and quality of experience. Bank automation included extensive SQL Server database development which involved creating DTS (ETL) packages as well as writing stored procedures, views and complex reporting queries with T-SQL. Also acted as senior database developer and mentor for the team of eight junior developers.

Responsibilities:

●Responsible for creating ETL processes to support 60+ Black Belt/Green Belts data needs. Processes included creating complex stored procedures (T-SQL, PL/SQL) and DTS packages to extract data from many disparate systems including SQL Server 7/2000, Oracle, MS Access, XML and Mainframe.

●Created screen scraping utility to extract mainframe data which was being presented on a web front-end. Extensive VBScript and SQL Server 2000 programming was included in development.

September 2003 - November 2004

Hired as a staff application/database developer working on internal desktop classic ASP/SQL applications supporting a banking call center and its staffs performance (ie. cost per call, etc.). Designed and developed an internal directory application called Green Pages, that was used by over 50 branches and its employees to locate internal staff and escalation hierarchy.
