01/08/2019 to Present – Associate Structural Engineer ACE BP Follow On Greenfield SOCAR-KBR, AZE
Became familiar and use accordingly both ACE Corporate Documents, Topside Structural Basis of Design, Topsides Structural Design Brief, and industrial codes such as ANSI/AISC 360-10, ISO 19901-3, API RP2A LRFD.
Worked in the Detailed Design phase and had experience in mentioned tasks. Manual design of access platforms and equipment supports within stiffener size/spacing. Used corporate spreadsheets for the calculations, meanwhile ran SESAM Genie analysis, preparation of engineering
sketches, and design drawings for structural designers.
Strength and Serviceability check of in-deck secondary steel for different decks of the ACE platform. Used different spreadsheet combinations, checked secondary beams against all existing and possible loadings. Inserted equipment with proper engineering justification.
Upper Deck design in SESAM Genie, model preparation, inserted relevant analysis parameters, and result
interpretation preceded by adjusting all members to satisfy the relevant code requirements.
Checked other engineers’ calculations for joints, runway beams, and equipment supports designs while working in the multi-disciplinary team.
Providing engineering services for pipe racks and supports. Analyzed the pipe rack model against dead, live, wind, and seismic loads, then adjusted the members to satisfy the code requirements. Applied pipe stresses once received the proper load list from the Piping Department.

Verified contractor invoice charges against original project contracts, created IPC (Interim Payment Certificate), meanwhile, communicated both with contractors to clarify discrepancies and with the clients to gather information regarding project budgets and optimize plans.
