Work Experience
Ira A. Fulton School of Engineering: Section Leader 9/2019 – 12/2019
• Assisted the professor in explaining the many opportunities freshmen in college can avail to build professional experience. Received leadership experience.
• Held lectures and office hours, answered numerous queries from freshmen about game development and Computer Science as a potential career.
School of Computing, Informatics, and Decision Systems Engineering 1/2020 – present
• Working as a TA and grader for CPI 111 (Game Development 1) and CPI 311 (Game Engine design)
• Assisted students with labs, assignments and class content. Also graded student submissions. The Luminosity Lab, Arizona State University 1/2021 - present
• Currently working as a Student Developer as a part of a small group where we are working with the airmen of the Luke Air Force base on developing a next-gen solution to flight de-briefing with the use of a Microsoft HoloLens 2.
• Application currently being developed with Unity (Mixed Reality Tool Kit) where flight models are simulated based on input from a .csv file containing flight data attributes such as pilot, roll-pitch-yaw etc. Online connectivity also being implemented using PHOTON to enable multiple-user view with minimal latency. Azure Anchors are used to make the de-briefing spatially aware and so that multiple users can interact with it.

Projects
AceIt, Chrome Extension (1st place at SunHacks 2018)
• Built a Chrome extension using JavaScript to clear obfuscated blocked content on a solution website by cross-referencing a database of existing solutions and replacing obfuscated data with found data. Distributed software systems (Nov’20)
• Implemented a ticket booking system using multithreading, concurrency and multiple cell buffers. Developed on C#.
• Created a service-oriented web application which includes a GUI layer, web services using WCF and ASP.NET (RESTful APIs), data encryption and management components (DLLs, Cookies, hashing, databases, XML file manipulation), all deployed to ASU’s Webstrar servers. Game Engine Build (Oct’19)
• Created a Game Engine with C# scripts, including shader scripts, Model/Terrain renderers and beginner node-based AI modules.
• Created a 3D, two player Fighter Jet game with stock models, projectiles & pickup models designed in Photoshop. Included randomized movement of pickups with use of an AI module. Implemented using C# scripts with XNA Monogame.
Shader Engine (Apr’20)
• Implemented numerous shaders using mathematical computations and linear algebra. Worked on bump and normal mapping, reflection/refraction shaders, texturing, shadow effects, particle systems, environment mapping and Ambient Occlusion and a final project on improving Perlin Noise by taking cues from NVIDIA’s GPU guide. Implemented in C# using XNA Monogame Framework and UnityEngine. UI/UX design (Nov’20)
• Developed a visual redesign of KAYAK, a flight/trip searching platform as part of a team project whilst adhering to UI/UX principles. Developed a project document which included personas, heuristic evaluations, cognitive walkthroughs and user surveys. Prototype developed using Axure RP and Adobe XD.
• Link to prototype: https://kghve0.axshare.com/#id=3ahmeu&p=search NASA Psyche Mission (Aug’20 – Apr’21)
• Part of an ongoing team effort to build an interactive and educational game to demonstrate the timeline of NASA’s future mission to the asteroid Psyche, scheduled for launch in 2022. Agile methodologies were followed through bi-weekly code sprints and stakeholder meetings.
• Game includes a fully 3D environment with an Asteroid-style gameplay with a virtual representation of the spacecraft’s timespan and trajectory. Going to be built for the NASA website through Unity. AI-Based game (Driving Under Intelligence) (Jan’21 – present)
• Implementing an AI-based game where the CPU learns from your maneuvers with every race. Implemented using the ML-Agents package from Unity and featuring shaders, custom-made car models, race-tracks and levels.
• AI currently programmed using the Agents class inherited from the package. Car movements are observed and reward/punishment system has been implemented. Awards
• New American University Scholar at Arizona State University
• Roster of the Dean’s List (Spring’18 & Fall’20)
• 1st place, SunHacks’18
