Worked as Quality Control Inspector from June 2015 to July 2017 in Star NDT Inspection & Technical Services, Hyderabad, India.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AT “ARABIAN INTERNATIONAL COMPANY (AIC)”

Supervising the day to day activities of a team of 50 members.

Assigned work to employees, using material and worker requirement data.

Examined and inspected work progress, equipment to verify safety and ensure that specifications were met.

Preparation of relevant reports and documents for Inspection and senior management.

Monitoring staff attendance and performance levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AT “SAYED HAMID BEHBEHANI & SONS CO (SHBC)”

Material receiving Inspection at Painting Warehouse to ensure that painting materials are supplied as per specification and stored in dry and well ventilated rooms as per the manufacturer instructions.

Raise RFI to the client.

Set-up and calibrate equipment like DFT gauge, Surface Profile dial micrometer.

Surface preparation prior to painting, monitor the surface preparation works prior to prime coat to ensure that the surface shall be free from contamination, make sure that blasted surface profile achieved accordance to project specification check the degree of cleanliness, surface profile etc.

Inspection and monitor the weather conditions and verify the humidity, Dew point temperature, Surface temperature etc.

Set-up and calibrate DFT gauge and dial micrometer.

Checking Surface profile using Dial Micrometer Replica tape, Chloride test (Bresle sample test) and Dust assessment test in front of the client.

Checking WFT during paint application and DFT after every coat of paint application.

Performing Adhesion test using manual Hydraulic & dolly and Cross hatch test in front of the client.

Document test results and provide clients with detailed reports summarizing findings.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AT “STAR NDT INSPECTION & TECHNICAL SERVICES”

Inspection and testing of Incoming Raw Materials.

Receiving inspection of the materials with verification of the MTC, purchase order and dimension and other required certificates.

Visual Inspection to find out the weld defects.

To find Weld defects using Dye Penetrating Test method.

Utilized other functionalities like Magnetic Particle (Wet Magnetic particle test) to test the defects.

Submit the complete Inspection reports to the client.

Responsible for stage wise painting / coating inspection

Visual Inspection of Manufactures label, batch numbers, order number, date of manufacture & shade etc.

Maintain record inspection report RFI for Surface profile (replica tape) and ambient conditions, relative humidity and the type of abrasive.

Inspection of primer coating after surface preparation check, witness WFT wet film thickness, record DFT dry film thickness documentation.
