-Worked as a data clerk at Sentebale Prince foundation from 2014 December to 2015 July

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AT SENTEBALE PRINCE FOUNDATION

-captured data that was being handed to me by Peer educators and Lay counselors on HTS and also from Empowerment workers on Sentebale ‘s program called WORTH. Specifically i worked under WORTH program which empowered female youth aged 14-24 years and young mothers to start village groups and small businesses.

KNOWLEDGE ATTAINED DURING MY BACHELOR OF ARTS IN ENVIRONMENTAL HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT STUDIES

Wrote a project about the socio-environmental impacts of Metolong dam in Lesotho.

Taught about how to develop terms of reference for social assessments and social management and monitoring plans required to inform the project during preparation and implementation

Know how to work closely with the project specialist to ensure inclusion and review of the social aspects in the environment and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) as well as the site specific Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) in line with the National Laws and World Bank safeguards.

Learned how to take responsibility for project inclusion of vulnerable households as well as gender perspective benefits to ensure equal participation and benefit distribution.

Learned how to facilitate the engagement of major stakeholders in the environmental and sustainable development decisions making, their access to and sharing of information for effective compliance with environmental safeguard measures in the context of intra and inter-generalization.

Oversee the management and monitoring of all environmental programs under the project, including related project coordination unit and project technical unit staff and consultations theof.
