BOILER
The maintenance checks carried out are recorded in a logbook. All panel board readings are recorded in logbook at the hour interval.
Give blow down at regular intervals, depending on boiler water analysis. Give MOBREY Valve (Automatic water level controller) gauge glass drain in every shift.
Ensure the gauge glasses are clean and water level switches are functioning properly. Check water cut off switch and water level alarms.
Periodic lubing of feed pump, ID fan, SA fan bearings, gearbox, conveyor rolling bearings. Check the working of safety valves. Periodic cleaning of boiler shell, smokes tubes are ensured.
Yearly maintenance of boiler refractory, insulation of linings and hydraulic tests are carried out.
Capacity: 16 Ton, Line pressure: 35Kg/cm2.
EFFLUENT TREATMENT PLANT
operates water treatment plant, makes operating process changes based upon routine tests, gauges, and meter readings, operates water treatment units such as chlorination, clarifiers, secondary setting basins, filters, and sludge disposal.
The maintenance checks carried out are recorded in a logbook. All panel board readings are recorded in logbook at the hour interval. Records log sheets, changes charts and recording sheets,
Inspects motors, bearings, and gear boxes for overheating and proper lubrication, takes temperature of sludge and effluent at various stages, uses meter and gauge readings to determine performance of equipment, and performs preventative maintenance and repairs.
Operates and inspects water treatment plants, pumping stations, and related facilities such as starts and stops pumps, regulates valves and observes flow dials, reads gauges and records information shown.
Diagnoses and contacts maintenance personnel for repairs and assist in disassembling, repairing, and reassembling pumps and equipment as required.
TURBINE
The maintenance check carried out are recorded in a logbook daily
Monitoring the panel board to control operation of turbine to equipment malfunctions
Adjust the Pressure relief valve (PRV) and control the steam flow.
All panel board and Instrument readings are recorded in the logbook at one-hour intervals.
Regulate the turbine speed by adjusting on speed governor if necessary
Aware of startup and shutdown procedures
May perform minor maintenance or equipment, using hand tools
Make adjustment or minor repairs such as tightening leaking gland and pipe joints
Active participant of shut down works and overhauling
Periodic greasing of slow speed coupling
Yearly maintenance of turbine refractory and tests are carried out.
