KEY ROLE OF STORES:-

Maintaining the day to day material stock

Issuing the material as per requirement.

Purchasing of materials.

Reducing wastage of material by monitoring the usage.

Physically verification before GRN as per invoice with goods

Take care of any goods Dispatching before necessary action and required documents

Materials are issue as per method of FIFO or LIFO

Keep a record of sales and restock the storeaccordingly.

Manage and train store staff.

Plan promotional campaigns for new products or specials.

Ensure that the store is kept clean and organized.

Mediate any confrontations between staff and clients, and de-escalate the situation.

Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom

Receive, unload, and shelve supplies

Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies

Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping

Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses

Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control

Coordinate the handling of freight, the movement of equipment, and necessary minor repairs
