Virtua Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Unit January 2020-March 2020
• Managed a caseload of 15-20 patients daily through a collaborative, multidisciplinary care approach.
• Led daily group sessions focused on common patient goals such as thought reconstruction, anxiety and stress management, sleep hygiene, and social participation. Implemented support groups series focused on grief and addiction.
• Developed a ‘Drop-In Center,’ available to all patients on the unit, to promote access to individual treatment sessions to address and accomplish patient-specific goals.
Vaux Big Picture High School August 2020 – December 2020
• Developed and implemented trauma-informed programming for students and staff at Vaux Big Picture High School through a violence prevention grant. Worked closely with principal investigator, Dr. Amy Lynch (PhD, SCFES, OTR/L) and a peer to develop a space for teachers and staff for daily wellness and self-care moments.
• Program development and implementation for connection, regulation and mindfulness activities for students in the classroom; and created curriculum and co-led an internship for 10th-12th grade students on Allied Health Professions. Group interventions and 1:1 interventions with students and staff were incorporated. Collaborated with Principal, Vice Principal, teachers, advisors, Positive Support Staff, and students throughout the development of each program.

• Assisted in assessing and treating patients primarily recovering from TBI in inpatient rehabilitation; Diagnoses addressed include TBI, SCI, Stroke, and Amputations.
