Bundling &numbering in process quality control, End Line quality control, Finishing Audit report and statistical Final Audit according to buyer AQL standard and knowledge of statistical processing control (SPC). To monitor the quality and production and to send the shipment within the customer quoted date. DESGINATION: PRODUCTION MANAGER in Company Splendid Udyog Ltd, Cuddalore-607005 from 02th Feb 2012 – 05 Dec 2018. (6 Years & 10 Months) PRODUCTION & PRODUCT DETAILS

We are processing daily orders on online business ship through DHL directly to customer itself. Different sizes, pockets & color on daily basis around (1000-1500) approximately.

Monthly twice the containers are shipped to our warehouse in our US office. We have received the orders from US, Australia, UK, and India. Our fabrics are imported as well as local.

Preparing items are mentioning Sheet Set, Water Bed Sheet Set, Duvet Set, Bed skirt, Ruffle Bed skirt, Multi Ruffle Bed Skirt. Ruffle Duvet Set, Round Sheet Set, Waterbed Sheet Set

(Both Attached & Unattached), Sofa Bed Sheet Set (Both Attached & Unattached),Ruffle Pillow Sham, Pillow Shell, Fiber Filled Pillow(With Gusset & Without Gusset) and Compressing, Comforter, Mattress pad, Curtains, Pillow protector, Water proof mattress protector.

Fabric consumption about each sizes and fiber consumption each pillow cases calculating. Deliver the orders within a day through DHL and try to reduce the cancel orders & replacement.

Using two type of fabric cotton & Microfiber, Lot of thread counts. Check the imported fabric and send the samples to testing whether they supply as per requirements or not.

Checking the raw materials strain, holes, weaving problem, thread missing, meter shortages, width less, color, dying fault, lumps, tearing strength, GSM, etc . Take the picture or report and submit to party through the purchase manager. Simultaneously manage the production through AIR & SEA without mistake.

Planning the container for dispatch from factory and prepare next container as per raw material stock and how long it will take to complete the boxes for full container.

Entire details will be uploaded on online daily itself from raw material to finish stocks as well as register. Daily checking the inventory for daily orders whether we have the stock immediately dispatch it through DHL.

Planning the raw material stock for at least one month, because our voyage time is 12- 15days through ship. Give them the order for next container through continuously without delay. Responsible about the shipment is deliver to customer or not and after dispatching must enter the tracking number in online then inform to our US team members.

Oversee the production process, drawing up a production schedule.

Ensure that the production is cost effective. Decide what resources are required.

Draft a timescale for the job, estimate costs and set the quality standards. Monitor the production processes and adjusts schedules as needed. Be responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment. Monitor product standards and implement quality control programmers. Work with manager’s to implement the company’s policies and goals.

Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed. Supervise and motivate a team of workers, review worker performance. Manage Manufacturing process to ensure product is delivered on time and under budget while maintaining quality standards.

Plan & Execute the production schedule including human and material resources.

Ensure high customer satisfaction ratings, maintain production goals and reduce inventory carrying costs. Manage logistics, shipping, receiving, delivery and distribution including process improvement and problem resolution. The apparel manager is in charge of all the manufacturing of the apparels in the factory unit. Have to examine the finished product carefully and look for flows and rectified immediately.

Have to check for the quality of the raw materials and standardize it. Coordinated with the main office from where the manufacturing orders are coming. Hire the workers & Staff’s for the factory and provides training for them. Assign the workers to the different department according to their skills. Appoint departmental heads because there are hundreds of employees in a factory. Take reports from each of them about the working of the department. Decided when overtime was necessary to meet manufacturing goals.

Production planning for the lines Manpower, Machines, Styles.

Line performance analysis efficiency, Man to Machine ratio Cost/price and plan for continuous improvement. Deciding rate per pieces for contractor labor as well as sewing, Thread cutting, Pressing etc. Make line performance report, factory performance report.

Maintaining and recording cutting, fabric consumption, keeping record of all incoming and issued items. Checking stock for items in regular interval and report it to respective person for reorder of finished out items. Implementing 5S in stores arranging and keeping items such a way that required items are easily find out.

Giving instruction to the packing, folding team about the packing requirement time to time and buyer specific. Employee QA to check garments at the time of stitching it is to ensure that operations are not making any requirement.
