Summary
A responsible Graduate Engineer with good skills in problem solving, designing and Analysis. Ready to face the new challenges every day in which I can quickly adapt to, and consequently learn and grow from. Forward-thinking and hardworking with a responsible and detail- orientated mindset. Person willing to learn new things every day. Good in project management with one-year experience as Management associate in Garments manufacturing industry. I am now looking to develop and expand upon what I have learnt during my degree, with a keen interest to working in Research and development industry in the field of Aerodynamics, CFD, Fluid Dynamics, propulsion and Manufacturing industries. “Study on Performance of Ramjet intake” in December 2017- April 2018 KARUNYA Institute of technology and science
The projects goal was to optimise the ramjet intake to get more compression by changing the cowl angle at the tip of the intake. The compression in the intake is done by series of oblique shock and a terminal normal shock. The study shows how the change in cowl angle tip affects the compression. At the end of the project the optimum cowl angle for the given design was found. Some of the key parameter involves in the optimisation are back pressure from the engine, varying area of the intake. Working this project gave me a better understanding of how to apply what I have learnt to solve real world problems as well as the complex design consideration in Ramjet Engine.
Research
Aerodynamic Modelling of Vortex shedding in Vertical Axis Wind Turbines (VAWT) In Swansea University September 2019 – March 2020
VAWT have a problem of vortex shedding at high tip speed ratios. The focus of the research is mainly on different parameter which effects the optimisation of power efficiency in VAWT. Detail study on different ways to setup a computational analysis to understand vortex shedding in VAWT and a detailed study on different types of optimisation technique used to reduce and overcome the effects of vortex shedding. The optimum design and optimum tip speed ratio and solidity of the design were found.
Analysing Quasi-1D Nozzle Flows by the Method of Characteristics In Swansea University March 2020 – October 2020
The research is to produce steady compressible flow in the nozzle. The solution will be ob- tained in MATLAB by using the method of characteristics (MOC) for 1D unsteady flow to advance forward in time until steady conditions are achieved. It uses finite difference grid with inverse marching algorithm. The same method is applied for different nozzle shapes and the solutions are compared with exact solution.
