Designing multiple apparel themes with distinct prints and diverse color schemes
Apparel designing inspired by the Mughal Era, a prominent 16th-century South Asian dynasty. Designs comprised of motives, co-ordinates, and color variation based on information extracted from a study of historical artifacts, colors, and artwork in a historical building in the city of Lahore (Pakistan) and prevalent women’s fashion of that era.
Distinctions
Two designs and three colorways got selected for HAMTEX World Exhibition for Germany
1st prize out of 75 participants for the interior design of the company stall in a countrywide Textile Design Fair
Participated in the Textile Design Fair with three printed sample prints
The local textile design companies acquired 5 out of ten of these designs. At least two came out in the local market as 'Al Aabid' prints.
